About the event
A family care plan is a blueprint to guide families in the care of a loved one. Creating one before there is a medical crisis minimizes stress while increasing the likelihood that your loved one will stay in control of their choices and age in alignment with their wishes. This is especially important as care needs change over time. When families work together to clarify needs and expectations, they understand what quality of life means to their loved one. This allows them to honor each other's skills and capacities, grow closer, and be of service to one another. In this virtual workshop, learn the basics of how to co-create a personalized family care plan. This plan will help your aging or declining loved one live fully and intentionally complete their life in the most empowered, supported, and dignified way. A family care plan will enrich your relationships and release fear, guilt, and pressure around caregiving.
